About Me

My mission is to help organizations prevent the disruption and dysfunction caused by workplace conflict. The dissatisfaction that comes from unresolved disputes can lead to decreased morale, increased absenteeism, high turnover, and even violence. I work with individuals and teams to improve their communication skills so they may find sustainable resolutions. I accomplish this by creating an atmosphere of understanding and safety so that we can clarify the source of the problem, identify the parties' goals, create and explore options, and determine next steps. Together we create a pathway forward.

A facilitated discussion is a process that allows 2 or more disputing parties to gather information about each other, clarify the problem and articulate their goals.

Ombudsman

As a professionally trained organizational ombuds, I work with individuals and groups to manage conflict.

Mediation

As a neutral third party, I help disputing parties clarify their issues and communicate in a way that avoids blame so that may reach a mutually satisfactory agreement on how to move forward.
